WHY NOT GUMMIES

We Tried Gummies. Here's Why We Rejected Them.

Early in UPLIFT's development, we explored every format. Capsules. Gummies. Tablets. Powders. After months of research, gummies were ruled out — and the science backs our decision completely.

Inadequate Doses

Gummies physically cannot hold the active ingredient doses required to be clinically effective. A standard gummy can hold approximately 1-2g of active ingredient. UNITY delivers 5g of creatine alone. You would need to eat 3-5 gummies just to approach a therapeutic creatine dose — and that is before accounting for the 7 other compounds in UNITY.

Hidden Sugar Load

To make gummies palatable at the quantities required, manufacturers rely heavily on sugar, glucose syrup, and artificial flavourings. A daily dose of multi-ingredient supplement gummies can contain up to 8-12g of added sugar — before you've eaten a single meal. UNITY contains zero added sugar.

What's Actually In There

A 2024 consumer investigation found that nearly 40% of supplement gummies tested contained significantly less of the declared active ingredient than stated on the label. The format makes dosing inconsistent. Gummies degrade faster, are harder to standardise, and are more difficult to test accurately. We couldn't build a product on that foundation.

We spent months researching the format. The conclusion was clear: if we want to deliver clinical doses of 8 compounds in one product — a powder is the only honest choice.
